The Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences at Universidad Antonio de Nebrija is seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral Researcher in Bioinformatics, Big Data and Translational Medicine to join a multidisciplinary research team.

The successful candidate will work on translational research projects integrating omics, clinical and medical imaging data, contributing to biomarker identification and the development of computational approaches for healthcare.

Key responsibilities include analysis and modelling of omics, clinical and imaging data, development of reproducible pipelines, application of machine learning techniques, integration of multi-modal data, scientific publication and collaboration in international multidisciplinary teams.

Skills/Qualifications
  • PhD in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Biomedicine, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering or related fields
  • Proven experience in large-scale data analysis (big data) applied to medicine or biomedicine
  • Experience in omics data (genomics, transcriptomics, proteomics, metabolomics) and integrative multi-level analysis
  • Experience in medical image processing and analysis (MRI, PET, digital histology, microscopy)
  • Proficiency in programming and data analysis tools (Python, R, MATLAB, SQL or similar)
  • Ability to work independently and within an international multidisciplinary team
  • High level of English

Specific Requirements
  • Experience in machine learning or artificial intelligence applied to biomedical data
  • Experience in integrating clinical, molecular and imaging data for translational research
  • Publications in high-impact international journals
  • Experience in developing reproducible pipelines and data visualization
  • Motivation to learn and apply innovative technologies and methodologies in healthcare
