Offer Description
Our group is recruiting a Postdoctoral Researcher supported by the BREATH MSCA Postdoctoral program project at CIC biomaGUNE:
The project aims to
Systematic screening of the interactions between biochemically defined host-tissue components and pathogenic bacteria
Analysis of bacterial phenotype in the presence of defined biochemical inputs
Reconstitution on a fluid lipid membrane to dissect the molecular mechanisms governing these interactions
Potential translation into a new material with controlled function
Preferred (but not mandatory) skills
Protein expression (bacterial and mammalian) and purification (affinity, size-exclusion, AKTA-assisted purification)
Experience with mRNA sequencing and data analysis
Live imaging (brightfield and confocal, TIRF microscopy)
Flow cytometry
Bacterial BSL2 work
Position details
Duration: 2 years, full-time
