Eligibility criteria

As part of the selection procedure for the project team for the contracted project entitled “Sustainable AccessibIlity to the LAbour Market (SALAM)”, a selection process is being organized.

The general conditions for occupying a position within the project team apply to any position in the project team and refer to the following:

a) The candidate holds Romanian citizenship, the citizenship of other Member States of the European Union, or of states belonging to the European Economic Area. By way of exception, where the applicable applicant’s guide allows it, for researcher positions intended exclusively for carrying out scientific research activities, foreign nationals may also apply, as defined by Art. 2 letter (a) of Emergency Ordinance (O.U.G.) no. 194/12.12.2002, as subsequently amended and supplemented—namely persons who do not hold Romanian citizenship, the citizenship of another EU Member State or of the EEA, nor the citizenship of the Swiss Confederation.

b) The candidate meets the minimum age requirement provided by law;

c) The candidate has full legal capacity;

d) The candidate is in a state of health appropriate for the position for which they are applying;

e) The candidate meets the education requirements and, where applicable, the seniority/experience requirements or other specific conditions according to the requirements of the position for which the selection is carried out;

f) The candidate has not been definitively convicted of an offense against humanity, against the state or against authority, of an offense related to service or in connection with service, of offenses that obstruct the administration of justice, forgery, corruption, or any intentional offense that would make them incompatible with holding the position, except where rehabilitation has occurred.

Additional comments

The application files for the position for which the selection is carried out within the project “Sustainable AccessibIlity to the LAbour Market (SALAM)” must include the following documents:

a) The institution’s standard form representing the application request addressed to the head of the organizing public authority/institution (Annex 10);
b) A copy of the identity document or any other document attesting identity, according to the law, as applicable (bearing the note “true to the original” and the holder’s signature);
c) Marriage certificate, if applicable (bearing the note “true to the original” and the holder’s signature);
d) Europass Curriculum Vitae (including the position applied for, signed on each page and dated on the last page);
e) Criminal record certificate, or a statement on one’s own responsibility that there are no criminal convictions that would cause incompatibility with the position applied for;
f) A medical certificate attesting an appropriate state of health, issued no more than 6 months prior to the selection process by the candidate’s family doctor or by authorized medical units, or a statement on one’s own responsibility, with the obligation to complete the application file with the medical certificate no later than the date of the first test of the selection process, if applicable;
g) A copy of the employment record book and/or a certificate attesting length of service (work experience/on projects), in the profession and/or in the field of studies. Each document must be signed on each page by the holder and marked “true to the original”;
h) Copies of documents proving experience in the field of activity specific to the project. Each document must be signed on each page by the holder and marked “true to the original”;
i) Copies of documents proving the level of completed studies and other documents proving completion of specializations, as well as copies of documents proving fulfillment of the specific conditions required for occupying the position. j) A statement on one’s own responsibility regarding whether the candidate has/does not have a spouse or relatives/affinal relatives up to and including the 3rd degree who are employees of the West University of Timișoara and who are in a position of leadership, control, or authority in relation to the position advertised in the recruitment and selection process; and that the position applied for is not in a position of leadership, control, or authority in relation to the spouse or relatives/affinal relatives up to and including the 3rd degree who are employees of the University;
k) A statement/consent form for the processing of personal data;
