announces a competition
for the positions of assistant in the group of research and teaching staff
in the Department of Administrative Law and Security Studies
The competition may be joined by those who meet the conditions described in Article 113 of the Act of 20 July 2018 Law on Higher Education and Science (Journal of Laws 2024 pos.1571, as amended).

Skills/Qualifications
- doctoral degree in the field of social sciences, discipline: security studies,
- publications at least at the level of qualification requirements set out in Appendix 4 (Table 4a) to the Statute of the University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn, constituting an annex to the Resolution No. 494 of the Senate of the University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn of 21 May 2019 on the Statute of the University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn,
- publication record related to issues of internal security, in particular the functioning of the state security system, public security, or crisis management – at least 2 articles published in journals included in the list of scientific journals and peer-reviewed materials from International Conferences with the assigned number of points, constituting an attachment to the Communiqué of the Minister of Science of 5 January 2024 (as amended), within the last two years, from the announcement of this competition;
- predisposition for teaching work with student,
- experience in teaching classes,
- ability to work in a team,
- fluency in a modern foreign language, both spoken and written (English preferred), and fluency in Polish (for foreigners),
- availability between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.,
- practical experience in internal security will be appreciated.

- Declaration of no criminal record in the field of crimes determined in the chapter XiX and XXV of the Penal Code, in the Article 189a and Article 207 of the Penal Code (Journal of Laws 2024 pos.17, as amended), and in the Act of 29 July 2005 on prevention of drug abuse (Journal of Laws 2023 pos.172 and 2022 pos.2600) or relevant prohibited acts to these crimes determined in foreign legal regulations
