Assistant professor (tenure track) in Management (Entrepreneurship and Digital Technology)

The professor is expected to develop and pursue an independent research agenda in the fields of entrepreneurship and digital technologies, with a particular focus on quantitative methods. They will:

  • Produce high-quality research suitable for publication in leading international journals
  • Seek external research funding and actively contribute to collaborative projects within and beyond the department
  • Actively contribute to teaching at both the undergraduate and graduate levels, including in the Master in Entrepreneurship and Innovation and the Bachelor in Business Administration, while also showing openness to teaching business-related subjects at the bachelor level
  • Supervise PhD theses and contribute to curriculum development
  • Engage with academic, institutional, and external stakeholders in Luxembourg and internationally

This position is part of the University of Luxembourg's tenure-track scheme, which offers the assistant professor the possibility to obtain tenure and promotion to the rank of associate professor upon positive evaluation. The evaluation takes place within 48 months of appointment and covers the professor’s performance with respect to the above-listed expectations.

The position is designed to strengthen the department’s research profile in the fields of entrepreneurship and digital transformation, support its academic programmes, and contribute to its long-term development.
