[Work content and job description]
Course name「Political Behavior, Campaigns and Elections」
Political Behavior, Campaigns and Elections is an intermediate-level course that examines how political parties influence voters and the strategies behind running successful campaigns, with a particular focus on Japan in a comparative context. Students will explore the motivations behind why individuals run for office and analyze how political parties, interest groups, and electoral rules shape campaign dynamics. The course delves into the substance of campaigns, including the positions candidates and parties adopt, the effects of political contexts and events, and the methods used to convey campaign messages to the public.
