Faculty of Life and Environmental Sciences, University of Tsukuba invites applications for one Specially Appointed Assistant Professor who will promote research and education in their field of expertise and publish numerous co-authored papers through collaborative research with faculty members in the areas of Earth and Life Science or Solid Earth Science (particularly in stratigraphy, sedimentology, historical geology, or paleontology)

The successful candidate will be affiliated with the Instituite of Life and Environmental Sciences, and will engage in research, teaching, assistance with student research supervision, and administrative duties in the College of Geosciences (School of Life and Environmental Sciences) and the Degree Program in Earth Sciences (Graduate School of Science and Technology).
