Juntendo University is promoting the expansion of English-medium instruction (English Track) in the Faculty of International Liberal Arts. In particular, the University aims to strengthen its educational framework in the field of Global Health Service, with an emphasis on interdisciplinary and international perspectives.

As globalization advances, health-related challenges such as the spread of infectious and non-communicable diseases, population aging, disasters, and environmental issues have become increasingly complex and diverse. There is an urgent need to develop human resources capable of addressing these global health challenges.
Through this recruitment, the University seeks to appoint a faculty member who can teach in English across the fields of public health, global health, and medical and health sciences, with the goal of fostering students who can contribute actively in international settings.

[Work content and job description]
・Teaching global health–related courses in the undergraduate program of the Faculty of International Liberal Arts
Examples include Introduction to Global Health, Public Health Policy, Health Care Systems, Medical Anthropology, Disaster Health, Planetary Health, Health Promotion, Health and Well-Being, etc.

・Conducting lectures and seminars in English
・Providing academic support to students, evaluating academic performance, and managing course operations
・Delivering classes in collaboration with Teaching Assistants (graduate students, international students, etc.)
・Participating in curriculum development and the review of educational content
・If possible, contributing to PBL-based courses, fieldwork programs, and education linked to international cooperation and community engagement

Assigned courses and teaching load will be determined based on the appointee’s area of expertise and experience.

Overtime and other explanations:This position involves teaching approximately 6–8 classes per week (90 minutes per class), as well as research and administrative duties.
Working hours will generally fall within the range of 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and vary depending on class schedules.
