Offer Description
The researcher will work on some inverse problems in the restoration of textile images derived from tissue scans. The applications in question mainly concern denoising, segmentation, edge enhancing, and blind source separation. The project aims to combine classical regularization methods and machine learning techniques with problem-dependent a priori information provided by business partners. Therefore, skills in both the regularization of inverse problems and the optimization of nonlinear problems will be essential. The researcher must also be familiar with image manipulation and software development in Matlab or Python. The ability to collaborate both in academia and with companies participating in the project is required.
