Use of DSAR systems for the acquisition of multi-angle observations of scenes with reduced revisit times, with particular reference to 3D tomographic imaging applications and to the integration, through artificial intelligence–based approaches, of data acquired from different sensors for the generation of Level 2 land-change maps.

Eligibility criteria

a. A PhD degree in Computer Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, or related disciplines, or an equivalent degree obtained abroad.
Pursuant to Article 38, paragraph 3 of Legislative Decree No. 165/2001, candidates holding a degree obtained abroad are admitted to the selection procedure provisionally. In the event of successful completion of the selection, the winning candidates must submit an application for recognition (equivalence) of the foreign academic degree to the Italian Ministry of University and Research within 15 days from the publication of the final ranking list, under penalty of exclusion from the selection.
Winning candidates who hold a declaration of equivalence issued by an Italian university must submit it to the Institution within 15 days following the publication of the final ranking list, under penalty of exclusion from the selection.

The following candidates may also apply:

– candidates enrolled in the third year of the PhD programme leading to the aforementioned degree, provided that the degree is expected to be obtained within six months from the date of publication of the call;
or:
– candidates holding a scientific-professional curriculum suitable for carrying out research activities, without prejudice to the fact that the qualifications referred to in point (a) of this article constitute a preferential qualification for the purposes of drawing up the final ranking list.
