Offer Description

The post is for a six-year period. The annual gross salary is about 50.000 Euros. The area of research and teaching is Spanish Language, Translation and Linguistics :

Required research duties: Research activities will concern the field of Spanish linguistics, with a special focus on theoretical linguistics as it relates to diatopic and diastratic varieties. The suc-cessful candidate is expected to explore dialectal phenomena of Spanish language that are rele-vant to grammar at the theoretical level.

Required teaching duties: Teaching activities will be carried out in the framework of the subject area SPAN-01/C - Spanish Language, Translation, and Linguistics, in the bachelor’s and master’s degree programs of the Department of Humanities, and as part of the PhD programme, with particular emphasis on linguistics and pragmatics of Spanish language.

Foreign language required: excellent level of Spanish;
Knowledge of Italian: level adequate to carry out the assigned teaching and research load (the researcher is required to teach in Italian);
Maximum number of publications to be presented: 12;
Hours of work: full time.
