UCC wishes to appoint a Systems Enhancement Project Officer to play a key role in the transformation and modernisation of People & Culture, supporting major system, process and data improvements across the employee lifecycle.

Reporting to the Systems Enhancement Project Manager and based within the HRIS team, the post holder will provide essential system, operational, analytical and reporting support to advance digitisation, enhance system usability, streamline workflows and strengthen data integrity across the University’s CoreHR/PeopleXD platform. The successful candidate will contribute to system enhancements, user testing, data preparation, documentation development and the expansion of reporting and analytics capability to support evidence‑based decision making and operational excellence.

Working as part of the HRIS team, the post holder will collaborate closely with the wider P&C Department, IT Services and Payroll to support digitisation initiatives, platform enhancements, process reviews and stakeholder engagement, ensuring continuity and alignment across transformation activities. As the University continues to evolve, the successful candidate will need to demonstrate flexibility as responsibilities and reporting arrangements may adjust in line with organisational developments.

Appointment may be made on the Admin III Salary Scale:  €60,862 - €72,665 (Scale B) / €57,949 - €69,147 (Scale A).

Salary placement on appointment will be in accordance with public sector pay policy.
