Maynooth University wishes to appoint a Microsoft 365 Engineer on a full-time permanent basis. This appointment at AOII Grade will report to the ICT Infrastructure Manager and be part of the Infrastructure Team within IT Services.

The Microsoft 365 Engineer will have primary responsibilities to manage, configure, secure and maintain the university Microsoft 365 collaboration, identity and productivity platform for students and staff. The scope includes Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive, EntraID and related services. The role will ensure that users have reliable access to collaboration tools and data while making sure data is protected, and our compliance requirements are assessed and met. The role will have a continuous service improvement aspect which will strive to optimise system performance and enhance the user experience and utilisation of the Microsoft 365 platform.

The ideal candidate will have a solid technical understanding and experience of 365 administration and a demonstrable knowledge of the technical aspects of 365 security, governance and compliance features. They will be a strong collaborator with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Salary:

Administrative Officer II: €46,918– €66,464 p.a. (9 points)

Appointments will be made in accordance with public sector pay provisions.
