Applications are invited for a 50% Fractional appointment as Senior Lecturer/Lecturer in Educational Psychology in the Department of Psychology (Ref.: 534458), to commence on September 1, 2026 or as soon as possible thereafter, on a two-year fixed-term basis, with the possibility of renewal subject to funding availability.
For appointment as Senior Lecturer, applicants should possess a Master and/or a PhD degree or professional doctorate in Educational/School Psychology with at least 8 years’ professional experience in the practice as educational/school psychologist as well as sound indicators of teaching abilities in educational/school psychology.
For appointment as Lecturer, applicants should possess a Master's degree or above in Educational/School Psychology with at least 5 years' post-qualification experience of professional practice in educational/school psychology.
Fluency in both English and Cantonese is required. The appointee will be required to supervise educational psychology trainees and perform both teaching and administrative duties in the Department. A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits. The appointment will attract a contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 15% of basic salary. Housing benefits will be provided as applicable for Senior Lecturer.
