Duties 

The appointees will assist the project leader in the research project - “White adipose tissue (fat) dysfunction in ageing and its related metabolic diseases: new insights and therapeutic potential”.

Qualifications

Applicants for the Research Associate post should have a master’s degree in Biomedical Science or other related disciplines with experience in cell culture and animal studies.  Preference will be given to those with experience in both wet and dry laboratory settings, particularly in metabolic research areas such as obesity, diabetes and metabolic-associated fatty liver disease.

Applicants for the Research Assistant post should have an honours degree in the above-mentioned discipline with experience in cell culture and animal studies.  Preference will be given to those with experience in metabolic research areas such as obesity, diabetes and metabolic-associated fatty liver disease.

Conditions of Service

For full-time appointment, a highly competitive remuneration package will be offered.

For part-time appointment, the remuneration rate is HK$125 per hour.
