Research Assistant Professor (25260558)

The Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences invites application for the position of Research Assistant Professor with experience and publication records in the following areas:

  • Health and wellness, and social care for older adults
  • Physical activities and exercise of the aging population
  • Use of transdisciplinary research methods (e.g. use of geographical information system and big data) in research with older adults

    • Responsibilities:

    The successful candidate will be housed in one of the academic departments in the Academy of Wellness and Human Development. One will be expected to contribute to department-based teaching, apply for external research grants and conduct original research in the above stated areas. Applicants should possess a relevant doctoral degree or equivalent qualifications with strong potential in research.

    The initial appointment will be offered on a fixed-term contract of one year  commencing as early as possible in 2026. Re-appointment thereafter will be subject to mutual agreement.

    Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
