Research Assistant (Full-time/Part-time)

Duties

The appointee will assist the project leader in the research project - “ORal-motor assessment and rehabilitation mobile app (ORAR app)”.  He/She will be required to:

(a)    assist in project management, material development, data collection, and data analysis;

(b)    assist in recruiting research participants, communicating, and maintaining good connections with the recruited participants;

(c)    perform transcription and linguistic analyses upon PI’s supervision; and

(d)    perform any other duties as assigned by the project leader or his/her delegates.

The appointee may be required to work on Saturdays occasionally.  

Qualifications

Applicants should:

(a)    have a good honours degree, preferably in Psychology, Linguistics, Rehabilitation, Social Sciences, or an equivalent qualification;

(b)    have a good command of both written and spoken English and Cantonese;

(c)    have good teamwork and interpersonal skills; and

(d)    be proficient in computer skills, including SPSS, Microsoft Office and Chinese word processing.

Conditions of Service

For full-time appointment, a highly competitive remuneration package will be offered. 

For part-time appointment, the remuneration rate is HK$125 per hour.
