Part-time Instructor in Social Work (Fieldwork Supervision) (several posts)

Duties

The appointees will be required to: 

(a)    undertake fieldwork supervision of students at bachelor’s degree and master’s degree levels;

(b)    organise and conduct workshops and seminars for students;

(c)    assist in the development and updating of learning and teaching materials;

(d)    engage in practice teaching related activities; and

(e)    perform any other duties as assigned by the Head of Unit or his/her delegates.

Qualifications 

Applicants should: 

(a)    have a master’s degree in Social Work plus at least five years of relevant post-qualification practical experience in one or more of the following fields of Social Work: Community Development, Elderly, Medical, Rehabilitation, and Family and Youth at Risk;

(b)    possess qualifications registrable with the Social Workers Registration Board in Hong Kong;

(c)    demonstrate skills and knowledge of connecting and developing collaborative relationships with a wide range of social service organisations; and

(d)    have a strong command of both written and spoken English and Chinese.

Conditions of Service

The remuneration rate is from HK$602 to HK$720 per hour.
