Graduate Teaching Assistant

Duties
  • Provide teaching support for course teachers;
  • Support course administration and development of teaching materials;
  • Grade student assignments;
  • Assist in coordinating departmental seminars and conferences;
  • Assist in programme administration including admissions, student exchange, competitions and internship;
  • Organise co-curricular activities such as company visits and alumni networking activities;
  • Handle teaching-related administrative duties as assigned by course leaders; and
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by Head, Associate Head and course leaders.

    • The appointee may be required to work beyond normal office hours occasionally.


    Requirements

    A Master’s/Bachelor’s degree in Economics/Finance. Good command of written and spoken English, familiarity with teaching, ability to work independently, willingness to help, and active learning attitude are required. Teaching background and experience in conducting research are preferred.


    Salary and Conditions of Service

    Salary offered will be highly competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits include leave, medical and dental consultations at the campus clinic.
