The field of General Surgery includes the study, diagnosis, research, management, treatment and surgical treatment of surgical or potentially surgical diseases of the endocrine system, breast, gastrointestinal system, esophagus, stomach, of the intestine, anus, liver, gallantry, pancreas, spleen, intraperitoneal cavity and retroperitoneum, skin and subcutaneous, trauma, surgical infections and surgical oncology, with the application of surgical methods and techniques of open surgery, laparoscopic or endoscopic or robotic or other minimally invasive surgical techniques.
