Offer Description

The hired post-doctorate will work at the Centre Inria de l'Université de Lille in the Scool team. He or she will be in contact with experts of sequential decision making. 

The candidate will study different research questions related to bandit algorithms when the performance criterion is not the expected outcome but some risk averse measure such as CVaR or entropic risk. The objective is to propose and analyze new risk-aware bandit algorithms, and to publish these results in research papers.

Specific Requirements

The candidate must hold a PhD in machine learning and have strong mathematical skills. Knowledge of bandit models is a plus.
