Job Description:

The School of Global Affairs and Public Policy invites applications for a full-time faculty position at the rank of assistant professor for four-year renewal contract at the Public Policy and Administration Department starting in Fall25. Successful candidates are expected to teach courses on quantitative data analysis for public policy, data analytics, economic policy, program evaluation, and public policy analysis and implementation.

The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of evidence-based policymaking and different quantitative and data science analytical skills.  S/he should also demonstrate commitment to teaching excellence, student-focused pedagogy, and experiential learning.  Candidates are also expected to have solid scholarly potential and a demonstrated commitment to the University's mission and values.  Evidence of an active research agenda and teaching effectiveness is required.

Requirements:

PhD in public policy, economics or a relevant discipline. Priority will be given to faculty with evidence of an active research agenda and teaching effectiveness.
