A postdoctoral researcher position is available at the Department of Marketing of the Copenhagen Business School starting summer 2026.
The position is limited until 31 December 2027.
Job description
The Department of Marketing (MARKTG) at CBS invites applications for a postdoctoral researcher position primarily in the context of the Horizon EU project ROSETTA. The postdoctoral researcher will join the department and work closely with the ROSETTA team in order to develop and test novel approaches to reducing food waste. The role will also involve other assignments at the department.
Main duties:
- Conduct and analyze experimental research on the topic outlined above;
- Write high quality research papers;
- Present and disseminate research outcomes at academic, industry, and civil events e.g. workshops, conferences, and other public events;
- Initiate meetings and share results with the involved researchers;
We are looking for a candidate who
- Is eager to work on joint research projects, actively seeks collaboration, and takes initiative in developing and implementing project ideas.
- Is motivated to invest the effort required to publish in leading academic journals.
- Has excellent training in statistics and quantitative methods with the ability to perform complex data analyses.
- Has experience with implementing computer-based experiments as well as field experiments.
- Has professional proficiency in English, both written and spoken. Knowledge of Danish is not a requirement but will be considered positively.
Qualifications
The applicant must hold a PhD or equivalent qualification. Particular emphasis will be placed on research experience relevant to the content of the ROSETTA project (https://rosetta-project.eu/ ). Applications featuring a PhD in a behavioral science–related field (e.g., marketing, consumer behavior, psychology, or experimental economics) and a focus on food waste and sustainability will be considered an advantage.
To fulfil the research requirements of the position, the selected applicant is expected to be physically present on a regular basis and to actively participate in the activities of the department.
