Senior Researcher for Research Group ATMP for Rare Diseases
(with working 12 hours per week)

The Faculty of Medicine of Masaryk University in Brno is hosting the Central European Advanced Therapy and Immunotherapy Centre (CREATIC), a Horizon Europe Teaming for Excellence centre established in collaboration with Fraunhofer IZI, the University of Leipzig, and the University of Copenhagen (www.creatic.muni.cz ). The CREATIC Centre of Excellence was officially established in January 2024 and aims to support the scientific career development of high-potential researchers with significant international experience. We are currently seeking a senior researcher with expertise in Advanced Therapy Medicinal Products (ATMPs) who will contribute to ATMP research within the already established Research Group on ATMPs for Rare Diseases, led by Prof. Lenka Zdražilová Dubská.

The scope of your work will be: The successful candidate will actively contribute to the activities focused on the research, development, and clinical translation of ATMPs for rare diseases, in close collaboration with an established interdisciplinary research team.

The successful candidate should:

• University education in general medicine or in a related field of natural sciences, or an equivalent qualification obtained abroad,
• disciplinehold a PhD degree in a relevant biomedical or life sciences field,
• have a proven publication record in peer-reviewed scientific journals.

Specific criteria:

• have a prove experience in ATMP research and development and/or ATMP manufacturing under GMP conditions,
• have a prove experience in CAR cell research and development,
• be familiar with ATMP regulatory requirements (considered an advantage ),
• be familiar with GMP manufacturing (considered an advantage ),
• demonstrate excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team,
• fluent command of Czech and English (spoken and written)

Type of contract: fixed-term employment contract for 1 year, with the possibility of further extension
