Offer Description

Topic: Development of Advanced Nanomaterials for Human Bacterial Infections 

Annotation: Human bacterial infections, including those caused by both susceptible and antibiotic-resistant strains, remain a major biomedical challenge. This PhD project will focus on the development of advanced nanomaterials through rational design, synthesis, and surface functionalization, incorporating antibacterial peptides and other active compounds. Emphasis will be placed on tailoring physicochemical properties to optimize antibacterial performance and biological compatibility. The project will integrate material development with functional evaluation to enable comprehensive assessment of antibacterial efficacy and potential mechanisms of action against clinically relevant human bacterial pathogens.
