The dean of the Faculty of Arts, Charles University, invites applications for job vacancy with a deadline for applications April 30, 2026

Job description:

• Organization and supervision of teaching practicums
• Teaching courses in undergraduate programs offered by the Department of English Language and ELT Methodology
• Supervision of theses
• Other pedagogical, academic, and organizational activities corresponding to the AP1 job classification according to the valid Career Regulations of the Faculty of Arts, Charles University
• Specialized research and publication activities
• This position is a parental leave cover.

Qualifications

A university degree in English language and English language teaching, a Ph.D., or enrollment in a doctoral program related to the English language Publications related to the field Ability to teach in Czech and English Proficiency in English at the C2 level and in academic English sufficient to lecture and publish in English Teaching competencies
