The Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences, Charles University, invites applications for two academic positions at the Department of Sociology Institute of Sociological Studies of the Faculty of Social Sciences, Charles University, for a workload of 0,5.

Job description:

• teaching related to quantitative methodology (Courses taught: 
  quantitative practice, introduction to quantitative data analysis, data analysis in SPSS, Statistics and SPSS)

Requirements:

• Ph.D. degree or close to its achievement
• university degree in the field of sociology or statistics
• pedagogical experience with quantitative methodology
• experience in teaching in English at BA and MA levels
• research and publishing activity in the field of sociology
• excellent knowledge of Czech language
• knowledge of English language in oral and written form;
• knowledge of IBM, SPSS, STATISTICS programs
• knowledge of R program is an advantage

• workload of 0.5 (20 hours per week) for one year, with the possibility of extension
