Skills/Qualifications

In addition to general conditions, applicants must fulfil the conditions stipulated by the Act on Scientific Activity and Higher Education (NN 119/22).

Within their application the applicants must submit the following: Curriculum Vitae including the data on the candidate’s qualifications and employment status, letter of motivation, copies of diplomas of undergraduate and graduate or integrated study, transcript of records of undergraduate and graduate or integrated study and certificate of the candidate’s ranking among the top 10% of students, list of works and copies of works in their published form, as well as other evidence of fulfilling the requirements for election to the title for which the competition has been announced.

To be eligible, applicants are required to have obtained excellent academic achievement – an applicant ranking among the top 10% of the best students of the generation in terms of success in university studies can be chosen for the associate position of assistant or an applicant with a weighted average grade of at least 3.5 points at the undergraduate and graduate or at integrated level of university studies. 

In exceptional cases, if the applicant achieved at the undergraduate level of studies a weighted average grade lower than 3.5 points, but not lower than 3.0 points, it will be taken into consideration if he/she achieved some other significant individual result during his/her studies or business career, and for which the judgment is made by the election committee. When evaluating applicants, the election committee will also take into account the following optional criteria which can be considered as an advantage for the position: 

- individual Rector's and/or Dean's award received during studies 

- research and/or professional publications 

- research work 

- participation in research project 

- experience in teaching 

- pedagogical-psychological-didactic-methodical competences 

- studying without repeating the study year during undergraduate/graduate/integrated studies 

- enrolled in a suitable post-graduate/doctoral programme, during which the duties of the course are successfully completed 

- work experience in the profession. 

Applicants are required to provide supporting evidence for the criteria that are considered an advantage.

The condition for the position is the graduate degree in the field of social sciences, branch of information science or in the field of technical sciences, branch of computing or in the related interdisciplinary scientific field in line with this recruitment competition or in the interdisciplinary STEM fields.

The Faculty of Organization and Information will use and process data for the purpose of carrying out a call process in accordance with the regulations dealing with the protection of personal data.

From candidates who are not native speakers of Croatian, proof of knowledge of the Croatian language may also be required.
