Establishing an employment relationship for the position of – a project researcher, to work on the following project: PK.1.1.10.0004 - Implementation of top research within the Scientific Center of Excellence for Quantum and Complex Systems, and Representations of Lie Algebras, for a fixed term and on a non-full-time basis (50%) at the PMF Department of Physics - 1 person.
Job description:
- Lead research activities in Modelling of Exotic Femto Systems; support research activities related to the Complex and Topological Condensed Systems and Quantum Technologies, as well as Topological Applied Photonics. This includes developing theoretical formalism and the underlying numerical implementations and computing codes, running numerical simulations, writing research papers and presenting research results at conferences and workshops.

EMPLOYMENT CONDITIONS:
In addition to the general terms and conditions of employment defined by law, the applicants must also satisfy the following conditions:
- completed doctoral studies in the field of natural sciences, physics.
- a minimum of 5 years of work experience in leading project research activities;
Additional condition:
- work experience related to developing and solving models in physics.
The Call is open to applicants of either gender on equal terms. For the purpose of this Call, the gender-specific terminology used herein, whether used in male or female form, should be understood to cover equally the male and female genders.
The applicants who qualify for employment preference under the special regulations should refer to the preference in their application and provide all the evidence as listed in the special regulations governing the priority placement rights, as well as all the evidence of eligibility and of the absence of any impediment to their exercising of the priority placement rights as stipulated under the special regulations. Such applicants will be given employment preference within this Call over other candidates, under the same terms and conditions of the Call, based on a duly completed, complete, and timely application, provided they satisfy all the terms and conditions of the Call and achieve top score in the selection procedure.

The applicants should enclose the following with their respective applications:
- CV;
- proof of citizenship;
- proof of academic qualifications;
- electronic record of employment status (e-employment record) or a certificate issued by the Croatian Pension Insurance Institute;
- previous employer certificates or previous employment contracts, to prove the relevant work experience;
- published papers, to prove the relevant work experience related to the developing and solving models in physics.

Incomplete, disorganized and late applications shall not be taken into consideration, nor shall the applicants be invited to amend them subsequently.
Eligible applicants may be invited to take part in an interview within the framework of the selection procedure.
The applicants who are being invited to take part in an interview will receive a separate email invitation with the details regarding the time and the place of the interview.
Applicants who fail to attend the interview within the framework of the selection procedure at the time and the place as specified in the separate invitation, shall be deemed to have withdrawn from the Call proceedings.
