The applicants (m/f) for election to the scientific-teaching titles and corresponding employment positions must meet the general requirements laid down in  the Science and Higher Education Act, (Official Gazette No. 119/2022) and special conditions set by the Decision of the Rectors' Conference on the necessary conditions for the evaluation of the educational and professional activity in the election procedure to the scientific-teaching titles (Official Gazette No. 122/17, 120/2021) and the institutional conditions of the Faculty of Health Sciences, published on the UDHS's website (http://ozs.unist.hr/hr/o-odjelu/dokumenti/2-opcenito/1441-procedura-i-d… )

Specific Requirements

Conference on the necessary conditions for the evaluation of the educational and professional activity in the election procedure to the scientific-teaching titles (Official Gazette No. 122/17, 120/2021) and the institutional conditions of the Faculty of Health Sciences, published on the UDHS's website (http://ozs.unist.hr/hr/o-odjelu/dokumenti/2-opcenito/1441-procedura-i-d… )
Specific Requirements
With the self-signed application, all applicants are required to submit the following:
- CV
- A copy of the citizenship certificate and identity card, or proof of citizenship of another country, and foreign nationals are required to submit evidence of knowledge of the Croatian language (C2 - advanced level)
- A copy of the diploma
- Proof of work experience (electronic employment booklet from the Croatian Pension Insurance Institute, a copy of the employment booklet, or another appropriate certificate)
- Evidence of meeting the necessary conditions specified by the Decision on the conditions required for evaluating educational and professional activity in the election procedure for scientific-educational titles (Official Gazette 122/2017, 120/2021)
- An overview of teaching and scientific activities, a list of scientific and professional papers, the papers relevant to the election, or a previous decision from the prior selection process for the scientific-educational title
The applicants submit uncertified copies of the required documents; the originals will be submitted if selected. The deadline is 30 days after the tender is published in the Official Gazette. Both sexes have the right to submit applications for the tender.
An assistant professor is needed to teach the following subjects at the Academic Department of Nursing: 
Health Care, Health Care of Adults I, Organisation of Palliative Care.

Selection process

Assessment of the competencies and skills essential for performing the job, as well as the interview, may be carried out for applicants who meet the formal requirements. Participation in the abovementioned tests is mandatory; otherwise, it will be considered that the applicant has withdrawn their application. An individual who has not submitted a timely and complete application or who does not meet the formal requirements of the tender shall not be regarded as a registered candidate.
