for title

 

Assistant professor, employed under permanent, full-time contract, for the scientific area of ​​Technical Sciences, scientific field of Electrical Engineering, Department of Automation and Electronics

 

 

The written application for the tender has to be accompanied by:

1. CV

2. copies of diplomas

3. list of published papers and relevant papers

4. evidence of fulfillment of the necessary conditions prescribed by the Decision of the Rectors' Board on the necessary conditions for the evaluation of teaching and professional activity in the selection process for scientific and teaching professions (Official Gazette No. 122/2017, No. 120/2021)

  • Candidates in the competition must meet the conditions for scientific and teaching positions prescribed by the Act on Higher Education and Scientific Activity (Official Gazette 119/22), and the Decision on Necessary Conditions for the Evaluation of Teaching and Scientific and Professional Activities in the Selection Procedure for Scientific and Teaching Positions of the Rector's Office choir and the National Council for Science, Higher Education and Technological Development (NN 122/17., 120/21.)
  • Trial work is six months.
  • Persons of both sexes can apply for the competition under equal conditions. Terms that have a gender significance are used neutrally and refer equally to men and women.
  • Candidates whose mother tongue is not Croatian must submit proof of knowledge of the Croatian language (level B2) according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. Candidates who obtained their education outside the Republic of Croatia must submit a reasoned opinion of the competent agency on the foreign educational qualification.
  • A candidate who exercises the right of priority during employment according to special regulations, is obliged to refer to that right in the application for the competition and to attach all the necessary documentation stipulated by the special regulation, which proves his right to priority.
  • A candidate who exercises the right of preference during employment according to the Act on Croatian Veterans of the Homeland War and Members of Their Families (Official Gazette 121/17, 98/19, 84/21, 156/23), is obliged to attach all the necessary documentation provided for in Article 103 of the Law in question, according to the list on the link:

  • Candidates who exercise the right to priority in employment under the Law on Civilian Victims of the Homeland War (Official Gazette 84/21), are required to attach all the necessary documentation provided for in Article 49 of the Law in question, according to the list at the link:

  • Candidates who invoke the right to priority in employment pursuant to Article 9 of the Act on Professional Rehabilitation and Employment of Persons with Disabilities (Official Gazette 157/13, 152/14, 39/18 and 32/20) are required to invoke this right in their application for the competition and submit all evidence of meeting the required conditions, as well as proof of disability.   • By registering for the competition, candidates expressly agree that the Faculty of Engineering, University of Rijeka, as the manager of the collection of personal data, can collect, use and further process data for the purpose of implementing the competition procedure in accordance with valid positive legal regulations.
  • Applications must be submitted no later than 30 days after the announcement of the tender in the Official Gazette.

  • The Faculty reserves the right to conduct candidate testing, and candidates who have submitted timely and complete applications that meet all formal requirements of the competition will be notified of this at a later date.
  • The faculty reserves the right to cancel the competition and not select any candidate without a special explanation.
  • Incomplete, untimely and applications that do not meet the formal conditions of the competition will not be considered.
