Hiring Unit:
Redpath Museum
Position Summary:

  • Greet visitors and respond to general inquiries with a welcoming attitude which includes responding to incoming emails and calls.

  • Process sales transactions and balance cash at the end of shift:

  • Receive and distribute mail and packages

  • Tour the galleries and monitor activity

  • Set up displays, restock merchandise


Other Qualifying Skills and/or Abilities

  • Works well under pressure

  • Affinity to work with the public

Knowledge of French and English: McGill University is an English-language university where day to day duties may require English communication both verbally and in writing. The level of English required for this position has been assessed at a level 3 on a scale of 0-4.
