The Peter Guo‑hua Fu School of Architecture is seeking a student photographer to support the documentation and archiving of physical models produced in an M1 studio.


Position Description:

The successful candidate will have strong photography skills and will be responsible for producing 24 photographs of the models produced in one of the M1 studio to ensure the long-term archiving of the models in a digital format .

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Preparing the photographic setup and lighting

  • Photographing a coherent set of 24 high-resolution  photographs of the models produced in one of the M1 studio

  • Photographing models during studio activities and final critiques, as needed

Qualifications:

  • Current McGill student

  • Strong photography skills; experience with architectural models is an asset

  • Ability to work independently and meet short deadlines
