Activities

This project based at the University of São Paulo's School of Pharmaceutical Sciences (FCF-USP), in Brazil, aims to investigate the role of Annexin A1 (AnxA1) in innate lymphoid cells (ILCs) during the development of inflammatory bowel disease.

The post-doctoral researcher will perform experimental and analytical activities, including:

• Induction of ulcerative colitis in mice and collection of blood and tissue samples;
• In vivo treatments with pharmacological agents;
• Immunohistochemistry;
• Sorting of ILCs to characterize different subtypes;
• Spatial transcriptomics.

Mandatory requirements

PhD in areas related to the project.

Desirable requirements

Candidates should demonstrate experience in: In vitro and in vivo experimental techniques related to immunology; flow cytometry; immunohistochemistry; molecular biology techniques.

This opportunity is open to candidates of any nationality. The selected candidate will receive a FAPESP Post-Doctoral fellowship in the amount of R$ 12,570.00 monthly and a research contingency fund, equivalent to 10% of the annual value of the fellowship which should be spent on items directly related to the research activity.
