Offer Description
The Department of Geodesy and Geoinformation, in the field of engineering geodesy, has a vacancy for a university assistant (pre-doc), expected to start in March 2026 (30 hours per week, limited to an expected 4 years) with the following responsibilities.
Your responsibilities:
Supporting teaching activities (exercises, practicals) in the field of applied geodesy and engineering geodesy
Assisting with teaching and research tasks as well as examinations
Supervising students
Conducting research in one of the main areas of activity of the Engineering Geodesy research group
Deepening scientific knowledge
Writing publications and a dissertation
Participating in scientific events
Assisting with organisational and administrative tasks
Your profile:
Completion of a relevant Master's or Diploma degree in geodesy and geoinformation
Knowledge of scientific work is an advantage
In-depth knowledge in the field of engineering geodesy is an advantage
Excellent English skills
Interest in research in the field of engineering geodesy and in working with students
Ability to work in a team, problem-solving skills and innovative ability
