    The Role  


    As Senior Audio Visual Solutions Engineer, you’ll lead AV consultancy and design—delivering practical, high-quality solutions for RMIT technology stakeholders. 


    You’ll sit within ITS’ Audio Visual team (End User Technology Services), collaborating with industry partners and vendors to get the right outcomes, fast. 


    You’ll turn stakeholder requirements into design documentation—schematics and AV functional design deliverables—built to RMIT AV standards. You’ll also help shape AV strategy and architecture, and build strong working relationships across the University and with external stakeholders.

    About You  


    You’re a senior Engineer with a wealth of experience in enterprise AV technologies, who loves untangling complex challenges, leads with deep technical expertise, and takes pride in delivering great scalable solutions that people rely on every day. 


    Skills & Experience 


    In this role, you will: 


    • Create clear AV Technical Briefs that align to RMIT AV standards and strategy. 


    • Collaborate, recommend and shape new AV initiatives—scoping requirements and delivery plans. 


    • Translate user needs into well-architected solutions, balancing experience, capability, timelines and technology choices. 


    Mandatory: Proven experience in an enterprise AV technical role, delivering large-scale projects. 


    Mandatory: Demonstrated experience in AV design services, ideally in a learning and teaching environment
