The Arts Coursework Masters Equity Research Grant provides financial support to Arts masters by coursework students who are completing a pathway to Higher Degree by Research as part of their coursework studies.

Brian M Davis Industrial Design Scholarship



Having grown up in a financially disadvantaged background as the career for my mother with an intellectual disability, there were many times growing up where my life stresses were so overwhelming that even though I had big aspirations to work in the art field one day, that it may not be possible for someone in my position. However, throughout my degree at Monash, thanks to their scholarship support, I was able to support myself and be the first in my family to undergo tertiary education. Being awarded both disadvantaged and academic achievement scholarships during my time at Monash gave me faith that people from positions like mine can succeed and achieve their dreams.


Am I eligible?
You must be one of the following:
  • An Australian citizen
  • A New Zealand citizen
  • Australian permanent resident
  • Australian humanitarian visa holder

You must meet the following criteria:
  • Current student in a Faculty of Arts Masters by coursework degree at a Monash Campus in Australia.
  • Have successfully completed APG5084 Designing research and APG5849 Research thesis A.
  • Enrolment in APG5850 Research thesis B.

Benefits

$3,000 one-off payment.

  • From one or more of Monash University's defined educational disadvantage categories .
